Genevieve Meyer – Co founder

Child marriage has been referred to as the most organized form of child abuse, a human rights violation and a form of human trafficking. Child marriage happens everyday in the U.S. The repercussions of this reality are real – domestic violence, inability to complete education, lack of job skills – all leading to being trapped in the marriage.
The message of Resilient Butterfly reflects the internal healing and transformation she has made throughout her life to be the compassionate, whole human being she is today, ready and able to turn around and share her wisdom with others.
Genevieve speaks about overcoming trauma and building resilience. She also educates and advocates on the harmful effects of child marriage and works to help individuals of human trafficking go from victims to survivors.
Genevieve is a co-founder of Resiliency Foundation, peer coach and committee member of Indiana coalition to end sexual assault, Indiana Protection for Abused and Trafficked Humans Task Force(IPATH), Anti-Trafficking Network of Northern Indiana ( ATNNI), and the national coalition to end child marriage.
